19 of Daniil Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been earned on hardcourt
A comeback Daniil Medvedev secured his first title for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the Almaty Open championship match.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has had a challenging period, winning just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a meltdown at the New York tournament.
The player's varied form on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his service game in especial - caused him falling of the top ten and eventually splitting with long-term coach Cervara.

This marks his first title after the Rome competition and first on a hardcourt after March of 2023.

"It's the first time I'm at a event with my both daughters simultaneously, so to get a title is really nice," commented ranked player the champion.
"This championship is in tribute of my child Victoria, because the first title I achieved when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had lost his last six championship matches, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
His defensive strategy and frequent outbursts on court had led commentators to doubt if his ability to compete at the elite level was finished.
